The last few weeks have been incredible at Revolution. Last week, we celebrated baptism and saw another person go public with their faith. It was a great reminder how God is using Revolution and helping us fulfill our mission of helping people find their way back to God. We also had 10 people take the next step and take the 90 day giving challenge. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, listen to last week’s sermon and don’t miss the chance to be a part of this.
I also challenged our church to take the step and participate in Lent as we prepare for Easter and celebrating the death and resurrection of Jesus, which is our hope as followers of Jesus. If you haven’t decided what to do for Lent or need some help with that, here’s a guide we put together to help you with that.
On to this week at Revolution.
As a culture we do everything in our power to avoid uncomfortable situations in life. One of those is the reality of death. Many have a fear of death, a fear of what the end of the life will be like. The Bible tells us that we should not focus on death, but that it should not frighten us. Instead, it should shape how we live our daily lives.
At Revolution this week as we continue our series Meaning, we’ll be looking at Ecclesiastes 7 and get an idea of what it means to live your life with the end in mind. What does not being afraid of death look like, but seeing what the reality that our lives are short, how that can have a positive impact on our daily lives so that we don’t waste our lives.
This is definitely a week you don’t want to miss at Revolution Church. So, bring someone with you (you never know when a simple invite will make an eternal difference).
Remember, we meet at 8300 E. Speedway Blvd. at 10am.
